The short version: this site does not ask who you are, has no accounts, sets no cookies and runs no tracking or advertising code.
Who runs the site
Trader Launchpad is run by one person in the UK as a free, educational project. For anything about your data, email [email protected].
What is collected
- Nothing you type is sent to us. The pot calculator, the $/£ switch and the other settings work inside your browser.
- Settings kept on your own device. So the page remembers your choices, your browser stores four small values in its local storage:
your pot figure (
tl_pot), the whole-shares tick box (tl_whole), the currency you picked (tl_ccy) and one display choice (tl_loc). They stay on your device, are never sent to us, and are not cookies. Clear your browser's site data to remove them. - Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic technical details of each visit (such as your IP address, browser type and the page asked for) to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. - If you email us. We see your email address and what you write, use them only to reply, and delete them when no longer needed.
Links to other sites
Links to Instagram, Blind Veterans UK, the Bank of England, brokers or news sites take you to sites with their own privacy rules. We do not control them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used. Email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with the answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Changes
If the site ever starts collecting anything new (for example an email list), this page will say so before it starts, and the date above will change.
