Terms of use
Last updated 4 November 2026
By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What the site is
Trader Launchpad is a free, educational record of one set of rules for buying US shares that break out of chart patterns. It publishes what those rules would do each month, a simulated account that follows them, and the tests behind them. It is not a broker, does not hold money and does not place trades.
Not advice
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a personal recommendation. The lists show what a fixed set of rules produces; they do not take account of your circumstances, goals or attitude to risk. Trader Launchpad is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Decide for yourself, and get independent regulated advice if you are unsure whether investing is right for you. Please read the risk warning.
Accuracy
Prices and company data come from free public sources and can be late, wrong or revised. The record, the replay and the tests are simulations with stated assumptions and known limits (set out on How it works). We try hard to keep everything correct and to show losses as plainly as gains, but we can't promise the site is complete, accurate or always available.
Your responsibility
Any order you place is your decision and your responsibility, with your own broker and on its terms. Check every figure, ticker and order type with your broker before you trade.
Our liability
The site is provided free and “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from using it or relying on it, including any trading or investment loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Using the content
You are welcome to share links and screenshots with credit to Trader Launchpad. Please don't copy the site wholesale or present the record as your own.
Changes and law
We may change the site or these terms at any time; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts deal with any dispute. Questions: [email protected].
